About Me

I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.  I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, a non-profit family support agency, school settings, psychiatric emergency and inpatient settings. My clients have come from a wide range of backgrounds and have struggled to navigate challenges and emotions related to managing life transitions, relationship difficulties, work-related problems, and family/parenting issues.

In addition to direct services, I have also taught, trained and supervised clinical interns and other unlicensed clinicians and non-clinical staff. I have provided parenting education and am certified and trained in the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P).

I tailor my approach to fit each individual client’s needs and draw from a variety of techniques and interventions (i.e., mindfulness, somatic experiencing/sensorimotor, EMDR, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Attachment Focused Therapy), depending on what is most useful for my clients.
